1893BFILFT General Description
The IDT1893BFILFT is a cutting-edge low-power physical-layer device designed to support the ISO/IEC 10Base-T and 100Base-TX CSMA/CD Ethernet standards. Its Auto-MDIX feature automatically corrects crossover errors in plant wiring, making it ideal for MII, Node applications. The incorporation of Digital-Signal Processing control in its PMD sub layer allows for transmission and reception of data on UTP category 5 cables with attenuation in excess of 24 dB at 100MHz, virtually eliminating errors from killer packets. Additionally, the IDT1893BF provides a Serial-Management Interface for exchanging command and status information with a STA entity. Its MDI can be configured to provide half- or full duplex operation at data rates of 10Mb/s or 100Mb/s, offering flexibility and adaptability to various networking requirements
