The 5V49EE901PGGI8 is a customizable clock generator suitable for high-performance data communications, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and networking applications. It boasts four internally programmable PLLs, making it possible to generate four distinct non-integer-related frequencies from a single reference clock. Redundant clock inputs with automatic or manual switchover functionality provide added reliability during normal operation. Programmable via an I2C interface, the 5V49EE901 also includes an internal EEPROM for saving and restoring configurations without requiring reprogramming on power-up. Each of the four PLLs features 7-bit reference dividers and 12-bit feedback dividers, offering users significant flexibility in frequency generation. The programmable PLL loop bandwidth allows for tailoring the device's response to specific application requirements, such as minimizing jitter or maximizing jitter attenuation. Additionally, the device supports spread spectrum generation and fractional divides on two of the PLLs. With six 8-bit output dividers, users can configure logic levels for each output bank, and the switch matrix feature simplifies board layout optimization. Moreover, the device enables programmable control of output slew rate and enable/disable functions, enhancing its versatility and adaptability
