The device is powered by a 5th generation switch fabric, which represents a significant advancement over previous CPS and Tsi switching architectures. With its patent pending features, the CPS-1616 ensures minimal latency, fair scheduling, and exceptional multicast throughput. The 6.25 Gbaud SerDes technology incorporated in this switch enables efficient local interconnectivity with low power consumption, making it an ideal choice for driving backplane links
