ADM101EARMZ General Description
The ADM101EARMZ is a versatile single channel RS-232 driver and receiver, part of Analog Devices Craft Port series. It has been specifically designed to operate efficiently from a single 5V supply, making it a convenient and cost-effective choice for many applications. The built-in charge-pump voltage inverter is highly efficient, generating an on-chip -5V supply which eliminates the need for a separate negative power supply for the driver. This feature not only simplifies the overall system design but also reduces component count and board space requirements. Additionally, the ADM101EARMZ allows RS-232 compatible output levels to be developed using charge pump capacitors as small as 0.1 μF, further enhancing its flexibility and ease of use. With its compact size and high level of integration, this product is well-suited for a wide range of industrial, automotive, and communication applications where reliable and efficient RS-232 communication is required
