ADM208EAR General Description
Offering exceptional performance and reliability, the ADM208EAR is a part of the ADM2xxE family of RS-232 and V.28 interface devices. With a single +5 V power supply operation and compliance with the EU directive on EMC (89/336/EEC), this product is well-suited for operation in challenging electrical environments. It meets the required standards for both emissions and immunity, including ESD protection in excess of ±15 kV on all I-O lines, Fast Transient Burst protection, and Radiated Immunity. The ADM208EAR also conforms to the EIA-232E and CCITT V.28 specifications and can operate at data rates up to 230 kbps. Equipped with shutdown and enable control pins, the device offers convenient management and monitoring of peripheral devices. Furthermore, backward compatibility with earlier ADM2xx products enables seamless upgrades for older designs.
