AT28BV256-20SU General Description
Introducing the AT28BV256-20SU from Microchip, a cutting-edge 256Kbit Parallel EEPROM designed for high performance. Featuring speedy access times of 200ns, this EEPROM is in a class of its own. With a power dissipation of just 54mW and a supply voltage of 2.7V, it offers both power and efficiency. In its deselected state, the CMOS standby current is less than 20µA, ensuring minimal power consumption. Providing access speeds comparable to static RAM, the AT28BV256-20SU allows for seamless read or write cycles without the need for external components. The inclusion of a 64-byte page register enables simultaneous writing of up to 64 bytes, streamlining data transfer. To protect against inadvertent writes, an optional Software Data Protection mechanism is available. Additionally, the device comes equipped with an extra 64 bytes of EEPROM, perfect for device identification and tracking purposes
