For automotive display applications with screen sizes up to 15 inches, the ATMXT1665TD-A Automotive touchscreen controller from Microchip offers a cutting-edge solution. Utilizing Adaptive Sensing technology, this controller boasts superior signal-to-noise capability, allowing for seamless operation with thick lenses and gloves, as well as in wet or moist conditions, while effectively preventing false touch events. Furthermore, the device’s signal shaping technology minimizes electromagnetic emissions, ensuring compliance with the stringent CISPR-25 Level 5 requirements for automotive electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the controller features advanced self and sensor diagnostic functions to continuously monitor the touch system's integrity, aligning with the Automotive Safety Integrity Level as specified in ISO26262.
