The bq4802Y/bq4802LY is equipped with direct connections for a 32.768-kHz quartz crystal and a 3-V backup battery, ensuring reliable performance and data retention. Additionally, its conditional chip enable output (CEOUT) and battery voltage output (VOUT) pins allow for easy write-protection and non-volatile external SRAM functionality. The backup cell ensures that the real-time clock continues to operate and maintains SRAM information even in the absence of system voltage, providing seamless functionality and uninterrupted operation
