DS1338U-3+T&R General Description
The DS1338U-3+T&R is a reliable and efficient serial real-time clock (RTC) that offers a low-power solution for various timekeeping applications. With a full binary-coded decimal (BCD) clock/calendar and 56 bytes of NV SRAM, this RTC is designed to provide accurate time and date information while consuming minimal power. The device features an I²C interface for seamless transfer of address and data, making it easy to integrate into existing systems. Additionally, the clock/calendar includes automatic adjustments for the end of the month date, with built-in corrections for leap years. Users can choose between 24-hour or 12-hour time formats, complete with an AM/PM indicator for convenience
