DS1631U+T&R General Description
II. The DS1631U+T&R digital thermometer is a sophisticated device that provides accurate temperature readings over a wide range. With its varying resolution options (9, 10, 11, or 12-bit), this digital thermometer is capable of measuring temperatures from as low as -55°C to as high as +125°C, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Furthermore, the DS1631U+T&R offers impressive accuracy, with a ±0.5°C accuracy from 0°C to +70°C when operated at 3.0V to 5.5V. For slightly wider temperature ranges, the DS1731 provides an accuracy of ±1°C from -10°C to +85°C within the same voltage range. All three devices also feature a customizable thermostat with user-defined trip points (TH and TL), offering enhanced temperature control options. Additionally, the TH and TL registers, as well as thermometer configuration settings, are stored in NV EEPROM, allowing for easy pre-installation programming. The DS1631A, a variant of the DS1631, also has the capability to automatically start taking temperature measurements upon power-up, making it a standalone thermostat
