The DS1685S-3, a cutting-edge real-time clock (RTC) solution, represents the next generation of RTC technology following the renowned DS1285. With compatibility extending to the DS1385, DS1485, and DS1585, this device offers the standard clock functions of its predecessors while operating at either +3.0V or +5.0V. Moreover, the DS1685 stands out with its advanced features, including a silicon serial number, power control circuitry for seamless power management, a spacious 242-byte user non-volatile SRAM, and a 32.768kHz output for sustained power activities
