In addition to rate of change functionality, the EMC1815T-2E/9R also incorporates Resistance Error Correction (REC) and Beta Compensation to ensure highly accurate temperature measurements. Resistance Error Correction automatically eliminates temperature errors caused by series resistance, while Beta Compensation addresses errors caused by low, variable beta transistors commonly found in modern processors. These advanced features, combined with a ±1° measurement accuracy, make the EMC1815T-2E/9R an ideal solution for critical temperature monitoring applications
