FAN53555UC03X General Description
Thanks to its nominal fixed frequency of 2.4 MHz, the FAN53555UC03X is able to significantly reduce the value of external components, requiring only a 330 nH output inductor and as low as 20 µF for the output capacitor. Additionally, the regulator offers the flexibility to add extra output capacitance for improved regulation during load transients without affecting stability, accommodating inductance up to 1.2 µH with additional output capacitance. Its Power-Save Mode, featuring Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) at moderate and light loads, ensures a typical quiescent current of 60 µA, with seamless transition to fixed-frequency control at higher loads, operating at 2.4 MHz
