HVLED101 General Description
The HVLED101 is a cutting-edge peak current mode controller designed for high power factor applications with an output power up to 180 W. It offers flexibility in implementing various topologies such as buck, boost, and SEPIC, in addition to flyback and buck-boost. With Primary Side Regulation and Optocoupler control, precise regulation and ultra-low standby power consumption are achieved, even during no-load conditions. Moreover, the integration of ST high-voltage technology allows direct connection to the input voltage for startup and input voltage monitoring, eliminating the need for external components. The integrated valley locking feature ensures noise-free operation at medium and low loads, while maximum power control allows users to limit input power for enhanced safety. Advanced protection mechanisms are in place to handle abnormal conditions like open circuit, output short-circuit, and input over/undervoltage, as well as circuit failures like open loop and overcurrent. The presence of a smart Auto Restart Timer function guarantees automatic application recovery without compromising reliability
