IIS3DWBTR General Description
The IIS3DWBTR is a cutting-edge system-in-package that incorporates a 3-axis digital vibration sensor designed to operate across an ultra-wide and flat frequency range. This device boasts low noise levels, exceptional stability, and a very consistent sensitivity, making it a perfect choice for vibration monitoring in industrial settings. Its capability to function in temperatures as high as +105 °C further enhances its suitability for industrial applications. Additionally, the sensor offers a wide bandwidth, making it ideal for use in battery-operated industrial wireless sensor nodes. With a selectable full-scale acceleration range of ±2/±4/±8/±16 g and the ability to measure accelerations with a bandwidth of up to 6 kHz at an output data rate of 26.7 kHz, the IIS3DWBTR delivers high performance at low power consumption. It also features a 3 kB FIFO buffer to prevent data loss and reduce the need for intervention by the host processor. Notably, the device is equipped with a self-test capability to verify its functionality within the final application. Packaged in a 14-lead plastic land grid array (LGA), the IIS3DWBTR is guaranteed to operate within a temperature range from -40 °C to +105 °C, ensuring its robustness and reliability for a wide range of industrial applications.
