KAD5510P-50Q72 General Description
Intersil introduces the KAD5510P-50Q72, a state-of-the-art 10-bit analog-to-digital converter that combines low-power operation with high performance. Leveraging Intersil’s proprietary FemtoCharge™ technology, this A/D converter is designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern applications, offering a sample rate of 500MSPS. It is part of a pin-compatible family of A/Ds, providing 10, 12, and 14-bit options with sample rates ranging from 125MSPS to 500MSPS, ensuring flexibility to accommodate various project needs. The KAD5510P-50Q72 incorporates two time-interleaved 10-bit, 250MSPS A/D cores, allowing it to achieve the impressive sample rate while efficiently managing the conversion clock and internal interleave clocking. Equipped with a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) port, users can fine-tune characteristics such as gain, offset, and skew between the two converter cores to minimize spurs associated with the interleaving process, ensuring optimal performance. The A/D converter presents digital output data in selectable LVDS or CMOS formats, catering to diverse system requirements. Housed in a 72 Ld QFN package with an exposed paddle, the KAD5510P-50Q72 is designed to operate reliably over the full industrial temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications
