L6986FTR General Description
Offering a maximum output of 1.5 A DC, the L6986FTR is a highly efficient step-down switching regulator suitable for a variety of power applications. Its adjustable output voltage range from 0.85 V to VIN provides flexibility and precision, while the P-channel MOSFET high-side power element allows for 100% duty cycle operation. The device is compatible with a wide range of input voltages, including 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V power supplies. The Low Consumption Mode (LCM) optimizes efficiency during idle times, while the Low Noise Mode (LNM) minimizes output voltage ripple for low noise applications. Additionally, the output voltage supervisor ensures smooth operation for digital loads, with the ability to sequence output voltages during power-up. With synchronous rectification for high efficiency at medium to heavy loads and pulse by pulse current sensing for constant current protection, the L6986FTR is a reliable and compact solution for power regulation needs
