LM5165XQDGSRQ1 General Description
The LM5165-Q1 device offers a compact and efficient solution for a wide range of input voltages, from 3V to 65V, making it suitable for various automotive and industrial applications. With integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, it can deliver up to 150mA of output current at fixed output voltages of 3.3V or 5V, or at an adjustable output. The device is designed for easy implementation, with options to optimize performance for specific applications. Its Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) mode ensures optimal light-load efficiency, while the Constant On-Time (COT) control provides nearly constant operating frequency, both without the need for loop compensation. The high-side P-channel MOSFET can operate at 100% duty cycle for minimal dropout voltage and does not require a bootstrap capacitor for gate drive. Additionally, the LM5165-Q1 is qualified to automotive AEC-Q100 grade 1 standards and is available in 10-pin VSON and VSSOP packages with 0.5-mm pin pitch, making it a reliable and convenient choice for automotive designs
