LM5575MHX/NOPB General Description
With the LM5575MHX/NOPB buck regulator, designing a robust power supply is easier than ever. This regulator offers engineers a simple solution that requires minimal components to achieve optimal performance. Operating with an input voltage range of 6 - 75V, the LM5575 can deliver a continuous output current of 1.5A, thanks to its integrated 330mΩ N-Channel MOSFET. The Emulated Current Mode architecture ensures consistent line regulation, precise load transient response, and easy loop compensation without the limitations usually associated with current mode regulators. The operating frequency of the LM5575 is adjustable from 50kHz to 500kHz, allowing for customization to optimize both size and efficiency. Additionally, the frequency synchronization pin enables multiple LM(2)557x devices to self-synchronize or synchronize with an external clock, reducing EMI. The LM5575 is designed for reliability, with features such as cycle-by-cycle current limit, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and remote shutdown. Housed in a power enhanced HTSSOP-16 package with an exposed die attach pad for effective thermal dissipation, the LM5575 is a dependable choice for power supply designs and is fully supported by the WEBENCH On-Line design tools
