LSM6DSOTR General Description

The LSM6DSOTR is a versatile digital output sensor that combines MEMS accelerometer and gyroscope capabilities in a compact LGA package with 14 pins. With three measurement axes (X, Y, Z) and a wide range of ±2 g, ±4 g, ±8 g, and ±16 g, this sensor is suitable for various applications such as indoor navigation, sensor hub integration, and motion tracking with gesture detection. Its high resolution of 32 bits ensures precise data collection, while its low supply current of 550 uA makes it energy-efficient. Operating in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C, the LSM6DSOTR is suitable for diverse environments. It can be interfaced via I²C, SPI, or I3C, offering flexibility in integration. This sensor requires a supply voltage between 1.7V and 3.6V, making it compatible with a wide range of systems. Its small dimensions of 3mm length, 2.5mm width, and 0.83mm height make it easy to mount on SMD boards.
