The LT3796/LT3796-1 DC/DC controllers are designed to deliver accurate regulation for constant-current and constant-voltage applications, making them well-suited for driving LEDs. Their fixed frequency and current mode architecture ensures stable performance across a broad range of input and output voltages, offering reliability in various lighting setups. The presence of two ground-referred voltage feedback pins enhances LED protection capabilities and allows the converter to function as a constant-voltage source when required. With a programmable threshold output current sense amplifier and a gain-configurable high side amplifier, users have the flexibility to regulate multiple current or voltage outputs to suit their specific needs. Furthermore, the PWM input feature enables LED dimming ratios of up to 3000:1, providing precise control over the brightness levels of LEDs for customized lighting designs
