The LT3799EMSE#PBF is a highly efficient isolated flyback controller designed to drive LEDs with power factor correction. Its critical conduction mode operation and small transformer compatibility make it an ideal choice for LED lighting applications. The controller features a unique current sensing scheme that enables it to deliver a well-regulated current to the secondary side without the need for an opto-coupler. In addition, it comes equipped with a robust gate driver to handle an external high voltage MOSFET. The onboard multiplier enables the LT3799 to achieve power factors of 0.97, ensuring high efficiency and minimal power loss
