M100LVEP111FATWG General Description
Designed for clock distribution applications, the MC100LVEP111FATWG is a reliable 2:1:10 differential driver with low skew characteristics. It features an input multiplexer that can accept two clock sources, supporting both differential and single-ended PECL input signals. Additionally, the device can operate under PECL conditions while accommodating HSTL inputs for added versatility. The LVEP111 is known for its low output-to-output skew, ensuring precise clock distribution across multiple devices.
To maximize performance, it is important to terminate both sides of the differential outputs into 50 ohms, even if only one side is in use. This practice minimizes skew and maintains tight synchronization. When utilizing fewer than all ten pairs, it is recommended to terminate all output pairs on the same package side to preserve skew margin and propagation delay.
