With a focus on 315MHz and 433.92MHz automotive remote keyless entry applications, the MAX2634 low-noise amplifier from Maxim Integrated delivers impressive performance with minimal power consumption. Operating at 315MHz, this LNA offers a power gain of 15.5dB and a low noise figure of 1.25dB while consuming only 2.5mA of supply current from a 2.2V to 5.5V power supply. Its integrated logic-controlled low-power shutdown mode reduces power consumption to a mere 0.1µA, making it an energy-efficient choice for battery-powered applications. By integrating output matching and DC-blocking components, the MAX2634 simplifies the design process and reduces the component count, while requiring just a single inductor for optimal input matching. This results in superior noise figure and input return loss for reliable performance
