MAX3232CSE+ General Description
The MAX3232CSE+ is a RS-232 transceiver IC designed to convert TTL/CMOS level signals to RS-232 voltage levels. It is capable of supporting data rates up to 250kbps and operates on a supply voltage ranging from 3.0V to 5.5V. The IC features a dual charge pump voltage converter which allows it to generate RS-232 compliant voltage levels from a single power supply.The MAX3232CSE+ also includes internal thermal shutdown protection and guarantees a minimum data rate of 3kbps when operating in a noisy environment. It comes in a space-saving 16-pin SOIC package and is suitable for use in a wide range of applications where serial communication is required.
