MAX691AEWE General Description
With their upgraded design, the MAX691A/MAX693A/MAX800L/MAX800M microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits provide enhanced performance and added features compared to the MAX691, MAX693, and MAX695. These circuits deliver a low 30µA supply current, a 200ms reset active delay on power-up, and a fast 6ns chip-enable propagation delay, ensuring efficient and reliable operation. The inclusion of write protection for CMOS RAM or EEPROM, separate watchdog outputs, backup-battery switchover, and an active-low RESET output ensures comprehensive protection and control for microprocessor systems. Additionally, the MAX691A/MAX800L and MAX693A/MAX800M models offer different reset threshold voltages to accommodate diverse system requirements, while the MAX800L/MAX800M guarantee power-fail accuracies to ±2%, providing stability in the event of power failure
