MAX883CPA General Description
The MAX883CPA is a high-performance linear regulator designed to maximize battery life with its ultra-low supply currents and low dropout voltages. With a 200mA output current capability at up to +125°C junction temperature, this regulator is housed in a 1.5W SOIC package, allowing for a wider operating range for the input voltage and output current. The use of a p-channel MOSFET pass transistor helps maintain a low 11µA (15µA max) supply current from no-load to the full 200mA output, eliminating PNP base current losses that can occur with earlier bipolar regulators
