MC10EP57DTR2G General Description
The MC10EP57DTR2G is a fully differential 4:1 multiplexer designed for low skew applications, particularly in clock distribution. It offers the flexibility to also function as a differential 2:1 multiplexer by leaving the SEL1 line open and pulling it LOW via the input pulldown resistors. The device's select inputs make data input selection straightforward, with SEL1 serving as the most significant select line. Additionally, the MC10EP57DTR2G features multiple V_BB outputs, with the V_BB pin providing an internally generated voltage supply exclusive to this device. In single-ended input conditions, the unused differential input can be connected to V_BB as a switching reference voltage, which can also rebias AC coupled inputs. It is important to properly decouple V_BB and V_CC using a 0.01 uF capacitor and limit current sourcing or sinking to 0.5mA when V_BB is in use. When not in use, V_BB should be left open. Furthermore, the 100 Series incorporates temperature compensation, further enhancing the MC10EP57DTR2G's performance and reliability
