MC10EP57MNG General Description
Designed for flexibility and reliability, the MC10/100EP57 is a fully differential 4:1 multiplexer with the ability to operate as a 2:1 multiplexer when the SEL1 line is not connected. Its differential architecture makes it an ideal choice for low skew applications, particularly in clock distribution systems. The select inputs, controlled by the SEL1 line, determine the data input selection based on the binary number applied. This device offers multiple V_BB outputs, with the V_BB pin providing an internally generated voltage supply exclusively for this device. When used for single-ended input conditions, the unused differential input connects to V_BB as a switching reference voltage, and V_BB can also rebias AC-coupled inputs. Proper decoupling of V_BB and V_CC using a 0.01 uF capacitor is recommended, along with limiting current sourcing or sinking to 0.5mA. When V_BB is not in use, it should be left open. The 100 Series incorporates temperature compensation for enhanced performance across varying operating temperatures
