The MCP79411T-I/MS is a highly integrated real-time clock/calendar (RTCC) with advanced features that make it stand out from other similar devices. With a built-in nonvolatile memory and features such as battery switchover circuit for backup power, timestamp logging, and digital trimming for accuracy, this product offers great value for its price. It can track time in both 12-hour or 24-hour formats with high precision, down to the second, minute, hour, day of the week, day, month, and year. Additionally, it comes with a multifunction open drain output that can be programmed as an alarm out or clock out, supporting 4 selectable frequencies. Its nonvolatile memory even includes a Unique ID in a locked section of EEPROM, factory programmed with an EUI-48 MAC Address
