NCP3420MNR2G General Description
When it comes to driving high-side and low-side power MOSFETs in a synchronous buck converter, look no further than the NCP3420MNR2G. This single phase MOSFET gate driver boasts a 3000 pF load driving capacity, 30 ns propagation delay, and 20 ns transition time, providing precise and efficient control of MOSFET switching. Its wide operating voltage range allows for optimization of gate drive voltages to maximize efficiency, while the internal adaptive nonoverlap circuitry reduces switching losses by preventing simultaneous conduction of both MOSFETs. Additionally, the driver features an Output Disable pin for driving both gate outputs low, an Undervoltage Lockout function for low supply voltage conditions, and a Thermal Shutdown function for overtemperature protection, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the IC
