NLVHC4066ADTR2G General Description
The MC74HC4066A is a versatile silicon-gate CMOS bilateral switch/multiplexer/demultiplexer that offers fast propagation delays, low ON resistances, and minimal OFF-channel leakage current. It is an ideal choice for controlling both analog and digital voltages that may vary across the entire power-supply range. This means that it can effectively handle voltages from VCC to GND without any issues. Additionally, the HC4066A shares the same pinout as the metal-gate CMOS MC14016 and MC14066 and features four independent switches. One of the key advantages of this device is its linear ON resistances over input voltage compared to metal-gate CMOS analog switches. The ON/OFF control inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs and can also be used with pullup resistors for compatibility with LSTTL outputs. To incorporate voltage-level translators, the HC4316A is the recommended choice for analog switches
