The PCA9600D is an advanced hot-swappable I2C-bus buffer that revolutionizes the connection and disconnection of I2C-bus devices while the bus remains active. Its bidirectional voltage-level translation and automatic direction sensing capabilities streamline the integration of master and slave devices on an I2C-bus. Featuring two pairs of I2C-bus buffers, it provides seamless voltage-level translation between devices operating at different voltage levels, supporting a wide voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V on the H-side and 1.65V to 5.5V on the L-side. This extensive voltage compatibility makes it highly adaptable to diverse applications with varying voltage requirements. With a hot-insertion detection feature, the PCA9600D ensures data integrity during hot-swapping, and its overvoltage tolerant inputs shield sensitive components from potential damage caused by voltage spikes
