RM41L232BPZT General Description
The RM41L232 device is a cutting-edge microcontroller specifically designed for safety systems, boasting a robust safety architecture that includes dual CPUs in lockstep, comprehensive CPU and Memory BIST logic, ECC on both flash and data SRAM, parity on peripheral memories, and loopback capability on peripheral I/Os. This device integrates the ARM Cortex-R4 CPU, offering an impressive 1.66 DMIPS/MHz efficiency with configurations reaching up to 80 MHz, delivering up to 132 DMIPS. Operating in little-endian (LE) mode, the RM41L232 features 128KB of integrated flash and 32KB of data RAM, both equipped with single-bit error correction and double-bit error detection. Additionally, the device includes advanced peripherals such as the Next Generation High-End Timer (N2HET) and a 12-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), making it an ideal solution for real-time control applications with safety critical requirements
