TOP258GN General Description
Designed for high performance and reliability, the TOP258GN is a highly integrated switcher IC that is perfect for low power, offline switch mode power supplies. With its 725V power MOSFET, high voltage startup, and sense-FET, along with all the essential control circuitry integrated into a single package, it offers an ideal solution for compact and efficient power supplies in a wide range of applications, including appliances, industrial controls, and LED lighting. The variable frequency, peak current control architecture ensures high efficiency and excellent load and line regulation, while the comprehensive protection features, such as over-temperature, overvoltage, overcurrent, and undervoltage lockout, ensure safe and reliable operation under diverse conditions. With a wide input voltage range of 85V to 265V AC, the TOP258GN is suitable for universal input applications and can deliver a maximum output power of 65W in a standalone configuration and up to 190W when used in conjunction with external switch components. Its small, low profile eSIP-7F package makes it easy to integrate into compact and space-constrained designs
