Additionally, the TPD3S716-Q1 features an adjustable current-limited load switch on the VBUS_CON pin, supporting VBUS currents up to 2.4 A and enabling compatibility with various charging schemes, including USB BC1.2 and USB Type-C 5V/1.5A. Whether used in host or client-OTG mode, the separate enable pins for data and VBUS offer flexibility for different system configurations. Furthermore, the device integrates system-level ESD protection on its VBUS_CON, VD+, and VD– pins, eliminating the need for external diodes
