The TPS53819A device is a highly versatile and compact single buck controller designed for use in digital consumer products. With its adaptive on-time D-CAP2 mode control and PMBus, this controller is perfect for powering low output voltage and high current system power rails. Its small package and minimal pin-count make it a space-saving choice for power supply designs. The inclusion of PMBus also simplifies the power supply design by allowing for programmability and fault reporting. Additionally, the skip-mode at light-load conditions, along with strong gate drivers and low-side FET on-resistance current sensing, enables low-loss and highly efficient operation across a wide load range
