TPS54620RGYT General Description
The TPS54620RGYT is a highly efficient and compact 17-V, 6-A step-down converter designed for small electronic applications. With its integrated high-side and low-side MOSFETs, this converter offers space-saving benefits and reduced component count through current mode control. This results in a smaller footprint and improved overall design efficiency. The SS/TR pin allows for precise control of the output voltage start-up ramp, enabling standalone operation or tracking situations as needed. Additionally, power sequencing can be easily configured using the enable and open-drain power good pins. The device also features cycle-by-cycle current limiting on the high-side FET, providing overload protection, and is further enhanced by low-side sourcing and sinking current limits to prevent current runaway and excessive reverse current
