TPS76718QPWPR General Description
The TPS76718QPWPR is a versatile device known for its fast transient response and stability when paired with 10 µF low ESR capacitors. This winning combination provides exceptional performance at a cost-effective price point. The PMOS component within the device operates similar to a low-resistance resistor, resulting in an impressively low dropout voltage (typically <230 mV at 1 A output for the TPS76750) that correlates directly with the output current. Furthermore, the PMOS pass element, being voltage-driven, boasts a remarkably low quiescent current that remains consistent regardless of output loading (typically <85 µA across the entire output current range of 0 mA to 1 A). These standout features contribute to extended operational lifespan for battery-operated systems. With a sleep mode feature, activating EN (enable) with a TTL high signal places the regulator in standby mode, reducing the quiescent current to just 1 µA at TJ = 25°C
