TPS92310DGSR/NOPB General Description
TPS92310DGSR/NOPB is a purpose-built off-line controller designed specifically for driving high power LEDs in lighting applications. Through its primary side sensing, constant on-time, and quasi-resonant switching techniques, the TPS92310 application circuit achieves high Power Factor, superior EMI performance, and exceptional system efficiency. Moreover, the device facilitates the design of low external component count application solutions, simplifying the implementation of LED lighting systems. In constant on-time mode, the TPS92310 provides inherent Power Factor Correction through its adaptive algorithm, dynamically adjusting on-time based on primary side inductor peak current and secondary side inductor discharge time. This dynamic control algorithm, combined with quasi-resonant switching, minimizes EMI and switching loss, enhancing the performance of LED lighting systems. The TPS92310 also offers supervisory features such as cycle-by-cycle primary side inductor current limit, VCC under-voltage lockout, output over-voltage protection, and thermal shutdown, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of LED lighting systems. Packaged in MSOP-10, the TPS92310 delivers a compact and efficient solution for driving high power LEDs in lighting applications
