The X28HC64JIZ-90T1 by Intersil is an advanced 8k x 8 EEPROM, developed using Intersil’s proprietary floating gate CMOS technology to deliver exceptional performance and reliability. Operating at 5V, this device adheres to the JEDEC approved pinout for byte-wide memories, ensuring compatibility with industry standard RAMs. The X28HC64 supports a 64-byte page write operation, offering a rapid 32μs/byte write cycle that enables the entire memory to be typically written in just 0.25 seconds. Additionally, it features DATA Polling and Toggle Bit Polling for early end of write detection, along with a user-optional software data protection mode that enhances Intersil’s hardware write protect capability. Furthermore, the X28HC64JIZ-90T1 is designed and tested for applications requiring extended endurance, with inherent data retention exceeding 100 years.
