AD7701ANZ General Description
The AD7701ANZ is a 16-bit, low-power, sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with on-chip signal conditioning and temperature sensor. It operates on a single 5V power supply and provides differential input channels for precision measurement applications. The ADC offers a conversion rate of up to 1 kSPS and features a flexible input range selection from ±10 mV to ±2.5 V.The device incorporates a digital filter to reduce noise and improve accuracy, and it includes self-calibration and system calibration options for increased precision. The temperature sensor allows for monitoring and compensation of environmental variations affecting the ADC performance.The AD7701ANZ is housed in a 24-lead PDIP or SOIC package, making it suitable for industrial, medical, and scientific instrumentation applications where high precision and stability are required.
