HV633PG-G General Description

The HV633PG-G is a versatile 32-channel driver IC specifically designed for gray shade display applications. With the ability to produce output voltages ranging from 3.0 to 80V, this IC utilizes an external ramp voltage VR to modulate the amplitude of the output signal. The device features dual 16-bit shift registers, 32 data latches and comparators, and sophisticated control logic to achieve 128 levels of gray shading. Data input is facilitated through 7 bits, which are shifted through the registers at the edges of the clock signal, effectively doubling the data transfer rate. The direction of data transfer can be controlled using the DIR pin, allowing for both clockwise and counter-clockwise shifting. Additionally, the output circuitry of the device enables efficient energy transfer, allowing stored energy in the output capacitance to be returned to VPP through the body diode of the output transistor
