IPS1025HFQ General Description
The IPS1025HFQ is a single high-side switch IC designed for driving capacitive, resistive, or inductive loads with its ground-connected side. With a 60 V operating range and RDS-ON= 12 mΩ (typ.), this IC is suitable for applications that require extended diagnostic capabilities for Over Load and Over-temperature protection. The quick < 60 us propagation delay time at startup enables Class 3 for interface types C and D, making it a reliable choice for applications that aim for higher SIL levels. The IC's low RDS-ON (≤ 25 mΩ up to TJ= 125 °C) allows for steady state operating currents of up to 2.4 A, making it suitable for a variety of applications. The embedded overload protection circuit monitors the output current and modulates the impedance of the output switch to limit the output current for both IC and load protection. Furthermore, the IC offers two sets of activation threshold and limitation levels for smart driving of capacitive loads and loads with initial peak current requirements. The diagnostics features are based on FLT1and FLT2pins, providing comprehensive monitoring for overload and overtemperature events on the output channel
