IPS160HFTR General Description
When it comes to driving capacitive, resistive, or inductive loads, the IPS160HFTR stands out as a reliable and versatile solution. Equipped with a 60 V operating range and a low Ron value of 60 mΩ, this monolithic device is capable of handling a wide range of loads with precision. The extended diagnostic features, including Open Load, Over Load, and Overtemperature detection, ensure the safety and reliability of the IC, the application, and the load. The < 60 us propagation delay time at startup enables the IC to achieve Class 3 for interface types C and D, making it well-suited for applications requiring higher SIL levels. The built-in overload and thermal shutdown protections provide essential safeguards against electrical and thermal overstress, while the low-dissipative short-circuit protection helps prevent power dissipation in case of a short circuit. Users can easily adjust the cut-off delay time using an external capacitor or disable it with a resistor on pin 4 (CoD) to manage output current values effectively. The DIAG common diagnostic open drain pin enhances diagnostic capabilities by providing accurate feedback on the status of the load and any potential faults
