IPS1025H-32 General Description
The IPS1025H-32/HQ-32 is a single high-side switch IC with the ability to drive capacitive, resistive, or inductive loads with one side connected to ground. It features a very low RDS-ON (≤ 25 mΩ up to TJ= 125 °C), making it suitable for applications with steady state operating currents of up to 5.6 A. In addition, the output channel is protected against junction over-temperature events, with a temperature sensor to monitor case temperature and ensure safe operation. The IC also includes an overload protection circuit to limit the output current and protect both the IC and the load. Furthermore, it offers two different sets of activation threshold and limitation levels for driving capacitive loads and loads with initial peak current requirements in a smart manner. The diagnostics of the IC are based on FLT1and FLT2pins, which are activated by overload or overtemperature events on the output channel
